Maine State Archives Advisory Board
The Archives Advisory Board, established by Title 5, serves to advise the State Archivist in administering record retention and preservation requirements for state and local government.
Maine Historical Records Advisory Board
The Maine Historical Records Advisory Board, established by Title 5 is within the office of the State Archivist and serves to encourage the preservation of and access to historical records within the State.
Maine Semiquincentennial Commission
The Maine Semiquincentennial Commission was established to develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
