Technical Assistance

The Housing Opportunity provides technical assistance to municipalities to support housing development. This includes guidance documents about supporting housing at the municipal level, workshops and webinars on recent housing legislation, one-on-one technical support to planning board members, municipal staff and code enforcement officers, and housing data.

State of Maine Housing Data Portal

  • This portal provides housing, demographic, and economic data to help Maine communities, housing organizations, and the public assess housing trends, compare geographies, and inform state, regional, and local housing goals.
