The Housing Opportunity Program, in coordination with the consulting firm, Stantec, is hosting a webinar to present an updated technical assistance resource to support municipalities with implementation of the state’s new housing laws.
This resource titled “Visualizing Density: Understanding Maine’s New Housing Laws” provides images of Maine neighborhoods to illustrate the new state density requirements to help municipal planners, planning boards, and others visualize these densities in their own communities. This webinar will provide an overview of the resource and explain how municipalities can use this resource to guide community conversations about housing density. Following the webinar, the resource and recording of the webinar will be available on the Housing Opportunity Program’s webpage. All are welcome to attend!
