EMS Week is a national celebration of the efforts, talents and dedication of EMS clinicians across the country. Each day of EMS week has a particular "theme" and Wednesday, May 24 is designated "EMSC Day" across the US.
The Maine EMSC program is pleased to share 3 opportunities for learning on this day, and hope you can join and participate. All classes offer CEH, are free, and are remote video based to allow statewide access.
The three classes on May 24 are:
0900-1000 Pediatric Pain Control by Dr. Rachel Williams (Maine Medical Center, Maine EMSC Pediatric Medical Director)
1000-1100 THC/marijuana/opioid overdose in the pediatric patient by Dr. James Watson (Toxicologist, Northern New England Poison Center)
1800-1930 "The Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator - Where Emergency Care for Kids Begins" by Dr Kathleen Adelgais, Dr. Mark Cicero, Dr. Toni Gross & Julianne Cyr - Pre Registration is required
