Licensure Classes

CLASSES

As of January 1, 2010 courses leading to EMS licensure that are held in Maine must be conducted by a Maine EMS Authorized Training Center.  The Maine State EMS office does not directly deliver EMS licensure classes.

Please see the list on this page for Maine EMS approved Training Centers that offer classes leading to EMR, EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic licensure.

Please note: Clinical Rotations during the COVID-19 Pandemic may be significantly limited.  Training Centers are required to complete and maintain the Training Center Checklist for Clinicals, as approved by Maine EMS and the Maine State Governor's COVID Team.  Clinicals may have various availability and requirements based on location and by each Training Center plan.  Any concerns may sent to Maine EMS by email or phone at 207-626-3860.
