TANF Rule #122P – Mileage Reimbursement Update

The proposed rule change would update Chapter V – B, TRANSITIONAL TRANSPORTATION (TT) consistent with the rate afforded to those covered under the Maine Service Employees Association (MSEA) contract. The proposed rule change would refer readers to the MSEA rate found at https://www.maine.gov/osc/travel/mileage-other-info.

The proposed rule would update Chapter V – B(4)(b) to:

“Effective January 1, 2025 mileage is reimbursed consistent with the State of Maine mileage reimbursement rate set by the Department of Administrative and Financial Services Office of the State Controller found at https://www.maine.gov/osc/travel/mileage-other-info.”

(B)(4)(c) would be updated to “TT mileage reimbursement shall not exceed $20 per day.”
