Fall Fun Day

Date: October 4, 2025

Come on over to Maine Wildlife Park with your friends and family Saturday, October 4 and Saturday October 11. Let's celebrate the Maine outdoors in autumn, and all the wildlife that call our beautiful state home!

Both events will feature two of our popular Keeper Talks, one at 11am, and another at 1pm. The first day will focus on Maine's small mammals, and the second day will put wild felines in the spotlight.

Other family-friendly fall activities will include pumpkin races, face painting, and a scavenger hunt that reminds us there is always something new to see outdoors! These activities, and more, are included with the cost of regular admission.

Don't forget to stop by the moose antler contest to lift up a set of shed antlers and guess how much they weigh. It's a great photo op, and a close guess could win you a prize!

Feeling snacky? Grab a bite at the food trucks! The Whoopie Wagon and Great Scott's Mac Wagon will be set up from 10-4.

Event festivities will run from 9:30am to 2:30pm, but the Park is open for our regular hours so stick around and explore some more! There are over 30 species of native Maine wildlife to see here, and so much to learn about each one.

9:30am - Gates Open and Festivities Begin 10:00am - Food Trucks Arrive 11:00am - First Keeper Talk 1:00pm - Second Keeper Talk 2:30pm - Festivities Wrap Up 4:00pm - Food Trucks Close 4:30pm - Gates Close to New Admissions 6:00pm - Time to Head Home
