Friends of Maine Wildlife Park Plant Sale

Saturday, May 23 from 8am - 4pm and Sunday, May 24 from 9am - 3pm
Join Friends of Maine Wildlife Park for their annual Plant Sale at the park entrance! Shop a great selection of hardy perennials, native plants, and garden favorites-perfect for improving your yard while supporting Maine's wildlife.
100% of all proceeds go toward care, enrichment, and habitat improvements for the animals at the Park!
The Plant Sale takes place in the parking lot, so admission is not required - but why not visit while you are here?
Black Bear Birthday Party - Luvey Turns 10!
Date: June 20, 2026
Saturday, June 20 from 10am to 2pm
Luvey the black bear is turning 10 years old! Join us to learn about Luvey, Maine's black bear population, and get your paws busy with bear-inspired activities.
Art in the Park
Date: July 11, 2026
Celebrate summer with art, nature, and community at Art in the Park from 10am-3pm.
Stroll through the park while local artisans showcase and sell nature-inspired artwork and handcrafted goods, each one reflecting the beauty of Maine's outdoors. Take time to view the wildlife throughout the park, grab a delicious bite from a food truck, and enjoy a relaxed summer day surrounded by creativity and nature.
