Internships

Applications for fall internships are now being accepted. These volunteer positions cover a wide variety of functions in animal feeding and care, enrichment, and education. Several openings are available for the fall season (through mid-November). Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to ben.barrett@maine.gov by September 6, 2024. Internship examples include but are not limited to the following:

• Wildlife Care Intern
• Browse Intern -- supply large quantities of browse to moose and deer
• Enrichment Intern -- provide enrichment for Park residents
