Adolescent Residential Rehabilitation Performance Measures Report:
Enterprise Information System (EIS) is DHHS’ secure, HIPAA-compliant online system for electronic submission of data and forms by Children’s Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) providers. DHHS also uses the EIS to collect data on CBHS programs and service delivery to improve operations and inform future planning.
CBHS Service Providers can access EIS here (Note: EIS only works in Chrome; and the autofill function must be turned off.)
The Office of Child and Family Services utilizes an electronic system of collection of Reportable Events from all OCFS children's providers. The electronic system identified is web-based through the Enterprise Information System (EIS), which is familiar for many providers. This system is also used by the Office of Aging and Disability Services, allowing continuity of information across offices.
Categories that are required to be reported are as follows:
Other Qualified Mental Health Professional (OQMHP) professionals are individuals employed by Children's PNMI providers who have a contract with the Department to provide Children's Residential Treatment services in Maine. These staff may be considered qualified for delivering these services if they meet the requirements set forth by the Office of Child & Family Services (OCFS):
The Office of Child and Family Services’ Children's Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) division collaborates with community providers to provide Behavioral Health Services to Maine youth aged 0-21. CBHS supports providers by providing training to enhance the skills of staff in accessing the most appropriate services for the youth of Maine.
Children's Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) providers must comply with the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA) System of Care Principles.
Providers who are interested in becoming a CBHS Service Provider must contact a Resource Coordinator to begin the application process.
CBHS will post copies of external communications here, to view please click on the link below.
