Bureau of Motor Vehicles announces new schedule for the Bridgton mobile license unit

AUGUSTA – Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap is announcing a change in the visitation schedule for the Bureau of Motor Vehicle’s mobile driver license unit in Bridgton. The mobile units, staffed by BMV personnel, make regularly scheduled visits to provide license services in areas that are a significant distance away from the 13 BMV branch offices.

Effective July 5th, the Bridgton mobile unit’s hours of operation will change to 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with no closure for staff lunches, to accommodate more customers who arrive during that time period. Thursday, June 28 will be the final day of the current hours, which are 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. The scheduled visit days will remain the same: The first and last Thursdays, and the second Tuesday of each month.
