Ribbon cutting marks official opening of new Topsham BMV office

TOPSHAM ? Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap officially opened the new Topsham Bureau of Motor Vehicles office Monday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The branch office has been open for business at its new location, 125B Main St., since March 2. It was previously located at 49 Topsham Fair Mall Road.

Dunlap was joined for the office tour and ribbon cutting ceremony today by Deputy Secretary of State for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Patty Morneault, Senior Section Manager for the BMV Central District Lucy Taylor, Director of Public Services Jennifer Pease and legislators Sen. Linda Baker, Rep. Denise Tepler and Rep. Brian Hobart. Also attending the ribbon cutting ceremony was landlord Terry Gray.

Wayne Russell is the manager of the Topsham branch, which had been at its previous location since December 1988. The branch phone number is 725-6520.
