Secretary of State Charles E. Summers, Jr. to Speak at Witness to History Event Honoring the U.S. Merchant Marine

AUGUSTA, MAINE – Secretary of State Charlie Summers will be the guest speaker at the Annual Witness to History Luncheon hosted by Lebanon American Legion Post 214 to honor the U.S. Merchant Marine.  The event will take place at the Hanson School in Lebanon on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.  All are welcome to attend. 

The event will also feature music, slide and film shows focusing on the U.S. Merchant Marine, a war artifacts display, including vehicles, weapons and other articles, as well as memorabilia from the various conflicts provided by the Maine Military Museum.
