Secretary of State Charles E. Summers, Jr. to Speak at the Maine Notary Education Day

AUGUSTA, Maine Secretary of State Charlie Summers will speak at the Maine Notary Education Day held by the Informed Notaries of Maine on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Calumet Club of Augusta. Deputy Secretary of State Julie Flynn and Director of the Division of Corporations, UCC & Commissions Cathy Beaudoin will also be speaking.

The workshop will cover changes in notarial law and will also include a brief overview of the notary public's duties in Maine. There will also be several notaries on hand to answer any questions. It is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is recommended.
