Abigail is the Climate Outreach Coordinator with the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future. In this role, she creates and coordinates opportunities for people to understand and engage with Maine's climate action plan, Maine Won't Wait. Before joining GOPIF, Abigail worked as a marine biologist in academia and environmental consulting, studying fish, sharks, and their environments. Now, she combines her scientific expertise with her passion for public engagement in climate action. Abigail brings experience in stakeholder engagement, education, social media content development and strategic communication. Prior to her current role, Abigail was the Youth Climate Engagement Coordinator in GOPIF, where she launched the Climate&Me Initiative to connect young Mainers to climate action. Abigail holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Marine Science from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME.
