Maine Impaired Driving Summit
The Maine Bureau of Highway Safety and AAA Northern New England invite you to join us for the 2026 Maine Impaired Driving Summit, on June 24 in Portland Maine. This is a dynamic, one-day, in-person event that brings together national and regional experts in law enforcement, prosecution, toxicology, and traffic safety. This collaborative forum will highlight practical strategies, emerging trends, and proven approaches to addressing impaired driving.
Community Outreach Events
We’re excited to offer traffic safety education sessions that are available to book for schools, community groups, and local organizations at no cost. Our programs are fun, engaging, and designed to help people of all ages learn how to stay safe on the road. Led by friendly, knowledgeable educators, each session can be tailored to suit your group’s needs and make learning about traffic safety both easy and enjoyable.
Child Passenger Safety Certification Training
Coming up in the year we have multiple Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician certification courses. Certified Technicians utilize their knowledge through a variety of activities, including car asea checks, where parents and caregivers receive education and hands-on experience on the proper use of their child restraint and safety belt systems.
