MaineMOM is a MaineCare model that improvs care for pregnant and postpartum people with opioid use disorder and their infants by integrating perinatal and postpartum care with substance use treatment services. Eighteen (18) sites across Maine deliver MaineMOM Services. Collectively, these sites have provided over 250 MaineMOM members with essential and compassionate care since 2021.

MaineCare is Maine’s Medicaid program. It is funded by the federal and state government. MaineCare provides free or low-cost health insurance and other health benefits to Mainers who meet certain requirements, usually based on income, disability, or age.
