Section 5: Solving the Problem
The First Follow up and follow through
Tasks:
- When you return to your office, discuss the situation with the CEO, or other individual with knowledge or expertise in this area.
- When you get back to your office, prepare a letter about what was said at the meeting and mail or hand delivered the letter to the owner.
- This letter to the owner must be signed by the Chair of Selectpersons/Town or City Manager and you. This will let the owner know that the town has an interest in resolving the issues.
- Periodically give the Chair of Selectpersons or Town Manager an update on how situation is progressing.
Keep a computer copy of your notes as a model for future use.
