State Plan
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Control, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) State Plan is submitted by August 15 annually to the US Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services for approval of program operations.
The ME WIC program is requesting public comment on the WIC State plan policies for Federal Fiscal Year 2025 (October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025). Although comments are accepted anytime throughout the year, this serves as a reminder as we approach the August 15th submission date.
Please see this link to the WIC Nutrition Program Policies, which are open for public comment. https://www.maine.gov/dhhs/mecdc/population-health/wic/policies.shtml
