Homebound Services
Maine residents may be eligible for Homebound services under the Books By Mail service. Homebound status is defined as a need to receive library materials by mail due to a physical inability to use local library services.
Homebound patrons are encouraged to contact their local libraries to see if there might be other services available to them as well such as in-person volunteer delivery programs.
Homebound individuals who have trouble reading regular print may also be eligible for Large Print and Talking Books recordings for the visually or physically impaired.
