Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Data Center - IMLS is the federal funding agency for libraries and museums. The data catalog holds data on IMLS grants administration and data about museums, libraries, and related organizations. PLA Metrics is your portal to the Public Library Data Service (PLDS) Statistical Report digital database. The database offers you access to all the yearly PLDS data currently available (FY2002-FY2013) and access to the IMLS data (FY2000-FY2010). The Report is compiled from surveys submitted by public libraries across the United States and Canada and presents timely and topical data on finances, library resources, annual use figures and technology to assist public library administrators in making informed management decisions. In addition, each annual PLDS Report contains a special survey highlighting statistics on one service area or public library topic.
