Thanks to a continued partnership with Friend & Friend Inc. in Ellsworth, the dealership is lending the Maine Warden Service a new recreational vehicle to assist game wardens in the course of their work. As part of the Kawasaki User Relations Loaner Program, a new recreational vehicle has been made available at no charge to Maine Game Wardens.
Friend and Friend Inc. of Ellsworth has provided a 2020 Kawasaki TERYX LE 4 800 4x4 utility vehicle (UTV). This four-passenger UTV will be utilized during search and rescue operations, ATV enforcement details, landowner relation details, and will aid in transporting people and equipment to and from the woods in a variety of incidents.
With over 80,000 all-terrain vehicles registered in Maine each year and thousands of miles of ATV trails and access routes, the use of this all-terrain utility vehicle will be a welcome asset to the Maine Warden Service. The Maine Warden Service appreciates Friend and Friend Inc. of Ellsworth for establishing themselves as an industry partner who supports the safe, responsible, and legal use of recreational vehicles within our state.
This is the ninth side by side ATV loaned to the Maine Warden Service in the last two and half years through Friend and Friend Inc. through the Kawasaki User Relations Loaner Program.
