Maine Migratory Waterfowl stamps are not only sold to duck hunters, but also to stamp collectors throughout the world. The 2016 stamps will be available for purchase in September and can be ordered by calling (207) 287-8000 or visit the Department’s website at www.mefishwildlife.com. The 2016 stamps will only be available for purchase through June 30, 2017, after which any unsold stamps will be destroyed. Previous issues (1984-20145) were sold under the same procedure and are available only on the secondary market, from stamp collectors and dealers. All revenues from the sale of duck stamps are used by the Department for waterfowl habitat acquisition and management.
