In addition to being the unofficial start to summer, today is the beginning of the next phase of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Re-Entry (see our DHHS Calendar of Important Dates).
Effective June 30, 2022, UB-04 and 837I claims submitted without an attending provider will deny.
In an effort to maintain more accurate data in the MIHMS system, provider enrollment is now requiring you to enter a Secure Fax number for each service location during any new, revalidating, or reactivating enrollment case. Prescribing providers are strongly encouraged to open a maintenance case to add a Secure Fax number prior to their revalidation.
