Synonyms: Represented in Maine by subspecies tuberosa. Subspecies interior Woods. occurs in Connecticut.
Known Distribution in Maine: The single documented record for this species in Maine is from Old Orchard Beach. It was last observed in 1985, and in 1990 the population was determined to have been extirpated. It is possible that this population was a garden escape.
