Become a Volunteer

Volunteers help keep Maine Wildlife Park running smoothly and looking sharp. From building and installing signs to sprucing up exhibits, repairing picnic tables, and tackling hands-on improvement projects, skilled volunteers make a visible difference all across the park.

Lend a Hand...

If you’re more people-person than power-tooler, you can welcome visitors at the gatehouse or Nature Store, helping guests have a nice, memorable day exploring.

...Without Wrangling A Moose

While volunteers don’t work directly with the animals (insurance says the bears get their own staff), regular volunteers gain a behind-the-scenes appreciation for the care, habitat work, and daily effort that keeps our wildlife thriving.
