MaineCare is preparing to increase reimbursement rates through a 1.0% COLA for certain services that are regularly scheduled to receive them in July. This COLA was recently appropriated by the Legislature through a budget amendment (with P.L. 2025, Ch. 388, Part GGG).

Funding for these COLAs will be made available to the Department pending a 90-day waiting period that began with the adjournment of Legislature on June 25, 2025.

These new rates will be funded retroactively to July 1, 2025, and will reflect a 1.0% COLA.

The Department initiated a Rate Determination Process* for School Health-Related Services and Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy. School Health-Related Services will be a new section of the MaineCare Benefits Manual (MBM).
