Supplemental COVID-19 Vaccine Available for Under and Uninsured Adults
Following the end of the Bridge Access Program in August 2024, the Maine Immunization Program received additional doses of COVID-19 vaccine for under and uninsured adults 19 years and older. These doses are essentially “supplemental bridge vaccine doses”. While the previous Bridge Access Program (BAP) doses were available in larger quantities, this current batch is capped at 2,500 doses. Out of this total, 2,400 doses are Moderna, and 100 are Novavax.
Providers enrolled with the Maine Immunization Program have the option to order these supplemental COVID-19 doses, along with additional doses that can be ordered through the 317 program. This is an additional option available to providers this year. Any doses ordered through the 317 program will be dependent on the current 317 funding available.
Please email MEAdultVaccine@maine.gov to enroll in our 317 program and to request doses.
Eligible adults may receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the following locations (please call first to inquire about availability.)
Please note that some health care providers may require you to be an established patient before receiving a vaccination at their office.
