This Week's Foliage Outlook

"While we are seeing peak conditions in northern Maine and high color in portions of the western mountains, colors are still emerging daily in central and coastal regions," said Gale Ross, fall foliage spokesperson. "This week's seasonal days and cooler nights are helping bring out the best of Maines autumn palette. The canopies in western Maine are showing off their most vibrant colors, which makes for perfect timing for our leaf enthusiasts," adds Ross.
