COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization and death. For the best protection, everyone 6 months and older should stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines. COVID-19 vaccines are available at locations across the state.

What You Need to Know

Updated COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months and older. Vaccines should be available at most places that you would normally go to receive your vaccines.

Everyone 5 years of age and older, regardless of previous vaccination, are eligible for a single dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine if it has been at least two months since the last dose of any COVID vaccine
Everyone 6 months - 4 years of age who have previously been vaccinated against COVID-19 are eligible to receive one or two doses of an updated COVID-19 vaccine. Timing and number of doses depends on previous COVID-19 vaccine received. Parents and guardians should speak with the child's health care provider.
Unvaccinated individuals 6 months through 4 years old are elgibile to receive three doses of the latest Pfizer vaccine OR two doses of the latest Moderna vaccine.
