Unlicensed Practice / Holding oneself out as a Nurse without a License Fines
Unlicensed practice or holding oneself out as a nurse without a license for 90 days or less: Lapsed License Letter of Concern regarding timely renewal and license requirements, to remain in the file for a period of 5 years.
Unlicensed practice or holding oneself out as a nurse without a license for 91 days or more:
- Offer a consent agreement offer for an admission, warning, and $500 fine; or
- at the discretion of the Executive Director, place the Application on the next Board agenda for review.
Unlicensed practice or holding oneself out as a nurse without a license while having a Lapsed License Letter of concern on file: Initiate a Complaint and offer a Consent Agreement for an admission, warning and a $500.00 fine.
