Eagle Bank, a Massachusetts state chartered bank headquartered in Everett, Massachusetts, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to Title 9-B M.R.S. §373, of its intent to establish a de novo branch in Maine. The proposed branch will be located at 65 Portland Road in Kennebunk, Maine.
In addition to providing notice to the Superintendent, the proposed branching activity also requires the applicant to file with the appropriate state and federal regulatory agencies that have supervisory authority for the applicant, the Massachusetts Division of Bank and the FDIC. If the Bureau finds that the proposed branching activity does not comply with applicable Maine law, it may file an objection with the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the FDIC.

The Bureau will accept written comments through Friday, February 7, 2025.
