Upcoming Exam Deadlines:
Please note the following information -
ASBOG will deliver these exams through Prometric, a testing company. This is an in-person exam and the Locations for the State of Maine are in Portland, Auburn and Bangor. To schedule your exam, you will need to be approved by the State of Maine, first. Once approved, you will receive your approval email and can schedule your exam at one of the testing sites through the link that is provided.
The ASBOG National Exam dates for 2025 are March 20, 2025 March 21, 2025, October 2, 2025 & October 3, 2025. Maine Board of Geology has a deadline of March 1, 2025 for applicants to remit applications for exam approval for the spring session and a deadline of September 1, 2025, for the fall session.
The State of Maine Specific Exam is one that is scheduled through Prov, which can be scheduled any time. Their website is PROVEXAM.COM. To schedule, you first need to be approved by The State of Maine. A confirmation email is sent to you with additional instructions.
