Any citizen may file a complaint informing the Board of their belief that a licensee may have violated the Medical Practice or a standard of professional conduct. The Board has the power to investigate those complaints and must decide if the information presented indicates that one or more grounds for disciplinary action exists or may exist.
If the Board takes a disciplinary action it becomes a permanent and public part of the licensee's record. Disciplines are listed on this web site under Board Actions. The Board will also send out the disciplinary document, at no charge, upon request.
