Want to support renewable energy in Maine? The Maine Public Utilities Commission offers an easy way to simply make your contribution when you pay your electric bill, as part of a program called Maine Green Power.
Maine Green Power is a voluntary program that provides Versant and CMP customers with the option to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates, or RECs, to support the development of green or renewable power in Maine. More than 4,600 Mainers currently participate.
How does it work?
