Pursuant to Public Law 2021, Chapter 164 the Office of the Public Advocate has convened a stakeholder group and retained Exeter Associates and Baldwin Consulting as consultants to “conduct a study of options for reforming the State’s current system of retail electricity supply in ways that will provide greater competition among retail electricity supply providers and more options and protections for customers, including access to renewable and clean energy supply options.” The OPA will submit their findings in a report to the Legislature on February 1, 2023.
