The Maine Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Maine National Guard, will be hosting G0300 Intermediate Incident Command System (ICS) for Expanding Incidents. This class expands upon information covered in the introductory ICS courses.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Describe how the National Incident Management System (NIMS) supports the management of expanding incidents.
  • Describe the Incident/Event Management process for supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by the ICS.
  • Implement the Incident Management process in a simulated incident.
  • Develop an Incident Action Plan for the simulated incident.

Prerequisites: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800

This course is offered free of charge. Lunch will not be provided. Course materials will be provided electronically.
