The Maine EMS Data Committee is an informal advisory committee of the EMS Board. The committee’s purpose is to provide recommendations about EMS data collection and analysis with respect to meeting national standards and local need. The Data Committee has not met as a formal committee since August 2011, after a significant change to the Maine EMS Run Reporting (MEMSRR) system was completed. The committee currently meets on an “as needed” basis and has an open membership. During 2014, the committee was called back for the NEMSIS 3 dataset review and has reconvened as a group of state wide stakeholders including EMS agencies, importing data systems, and hospital users.
Please contact Maine EMS if you are interested in being on the mailing list for future data activities.
