2025 Maine Impaired Driving Summit
The Maine Bureau of Highway Safety and AAA Northern New England are committed to raising awareness and fostering a dialogue that will promote safe driving habits. Join us for our annual Impaired Driving Summit as we bring together national and regional experts from law enforcement, prosecution, toxicology, and traffic safety to share their expertise and best practices to address critical issues around impaired driving.

The summit has been approved for 5 hours of legal education credit hours from the Maine Bar and can be used as MCJA Mandatory Elective Credits for law enforcement, if approved by the agency CEO, and has been approved for 5 hours training credit toward Drug Recognition Experts’ recertification requirements.

Forensic Phlebotomy Class Fall 2025
The Maine Forensic Phlebotomy Program is a State of Maine, Bureau fog Highway Safety approved training designed to assist qualified law enforcement officers in the procedures of venipuncture for investigative purposes. Law enforcement officers will learn the ethical and legal aspects of phlebotomy, anatomy and physiology and safety precautions.

Child Passenger Safety Certification Training
Coming up in the year we have multiple Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician certification courses. Certified Technicians utilize their knowledge through a variety of activities, including car seat checks, where parents and caregivers receive education and hands-on experience on the proper use of their child restraint and safety belt systems.
