The Office of Professional Standards is responsible for ensuring that all allegations of misconduct and other alleged violations by employees of the Maine State Police are investigated. A captain, sergeant, and a secretary staff the unit.
For a complaint involving a municipal officer or county deputy sheriff, please contact their respective department.
You may report an incident of misconduct by a member of the Maine State Police by contacting the individuals named above or contacting any of the regional communication centers and requesting to speak to a supervisor.
