Minutes     Technical Advisory Groups

The Technical Building Codes and Standards Board was created in 2010 under M.R.S. 10 §9722. Duties of the board are to adopt and amend the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code, identify, and resolve conflicts of the building code and life safety codes.

Board meetings are held quarterly on the second Thursday of the month unless additional meetings are needed. Please refer to the calendar for meeting details.

Representing Residential Builders, recommended by a statewide or regional association of home builders and remodelers

Representing Commercial Builders, recommended by a statewide Association of General Contractors

Representing Maine Chapter of the American Institute of Architects

Representing Structural Engineers, recommended by a statewide Association of Structural Engineers
