Special Projects for Inclusion team provides support and professional learning opportunities for administrators, educators, and families to ensure that students with disabilities have equitable access to the general education curriculum and environment, including high expectations and meaningful opportunities for engagement with their peers and community.

Maine Inclusive Education Framework
A workgroup of educators, families, self-advocates, higher education faculty and members of the Maine DOE are currently creating Maine’s Inclusive Education Framework.
Math4ME
Math4ME is designed to implement evidence-based professional development which increases math proficiency and inclusionary practices for students with exceptionalities and improves instructional practices for educators of all students.

SEEDS provides supports for conditionally certified special educators and new special educators with professional learning and mentoring. Additionally, SEEDS works with schools, SAUs, and higher education to expand opportunities for the educator workforce.
